When do I need an Electrical Inspector?
Some types of prescribed electrical work must be inspected by an independent Electrical Inspector before they can be connected or put into service. These requirements are set under New Zealand electrical safety regulations.

Can you inspect work completed by another electrical contractor?
Yes. Electrical inspections must be carried out independently, which means the inspector cannot inspect work they have carried out themselves.
We work alongside other electrical contractors to provide independent inspections when required.
